  • Alabama –  June 3rd – 11th, 2023
  • Alaska – Ages 15 and under and 61 and older can fish for free year-round.
  • Arizona – June 3rd, 2023
  • Arkansas – June 11th – 13th, 2023
  • California – July 1st and September 2nd, 2023
  • Colorado – June 3rd and 4th, 2023
  • Connecticut – May 13th, June 18th, 2023, and August 12th.
  • Delaware –  June 3rd – 11th, 2023
  • Florida – First Saturday and Sunday in April, and the second Saturday and Sunday in June (freshwater) First Saturday and Sunday in June, and the first Saturday in September (saltwater), also the Saturday following Thanksgiving for saltwater fishing.
  • Georgia – June 3rd, June 10th, and September 23, 2023
  • Hawaii – Year round.
  • Idaho – June 10th, 2023
  • Illinois – June 16th – 19th, 2023
  • Indiana – May 7th,  June 3rd -4th, and September 23rd.
  • Iowa – June 2nd – 4th.
  • Kansas – June 3rd – 4th, 2023
  • Kentucky – June 3rd -4th, 2023
  • Louisiana – June 10th -11th, 2023
  • Maine – February 17th -18th and June 3rd – 4th, 2023
